17-Year-Old Lefty Starts Career 4-0 For Braves

Minor League Report: Friday 705

Don't have much time this weekend, so I'll just address my biggest pet peeve so far this season.

Felix Falcon.  Phenom? Figment of my imagination? Braves' shape-shifting left-hander? He is 4-0 for the DSL Braves, and nowhere do we have his height or weight  or hometown.

What we do have is that he is only 17; he turns 18 on August 7th. He has started twice for the DSL team and won both -- most recently working six shutout innings in an abbreviated complete game.
He's struck out 24 in 24 innings while walking only four. He has a 2.66 ERA.

His middle initial is "D."

And that's it.  I think I saw one report that he's Mexican.  Anyone got any more?  Post it here.
