Chattanoogan, 71, Dies In Motorcycle Wreck In South Dakota

A 71-year-old Chattanooga man died Sunday afternoon in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 90 near Montrose, South Dakota.

David Nowading was traveling eastbound returning home with some fellow motorcyclists from the Sturgis Rally when his motorcycle drifted to the right and struck a cable. The 2012 Honda Goldwing cycle flipped several times before coming to rest in the middle lane.

The victim was dead at the scene. He was found about 20 feet from his motorcycle..

Authorities said he was wearing a helmet.
