Lucille Annie Washington Jewell-Johnson, 97, of Dalton and formerly of Cassville, GA, passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Regency Park Health Care.
She was a member of Mt. Ridge Baptist Church and retired from Ridgewood Nursing Home.
She is survived by one brother, Joe Odom of Cartersville; great-nephews Chris (Tina) Barrett of Dalton; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, other relatives, church family members and friends.
Celebration of Life for Mrs. Lucille Jewell-Johnson will be held Monday, August 26, at 1 p. m. from New Hope Baptist Church, 105 Firetower Road, Cassville, GA, with Dr. Jerry D. Jones, Sr., Rev. William Reed, and other ministers officiating. Interment will follow in Cassville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 25 at the funeral home from 5-7 p. m.
