Woman Dies While Rafting Ocoee River

A woman died while rafting the Ocoee River late Saturday morning.

The incident happened around 11:15 a.m. in the Polk County river.

The victim was in her 40s.

She fell out of a raft just below a put-in point. Rescuers used a rope to get her to the bank, then CPR was performed.

She was taken to a hospital by ambulance.
