Brantley Charged In Death Of Wife, Who Was Last Seen In 2009

Bradley County authorities have made an arrest in the case of a woman who has been missing since 2009.

Donnie Ray Brantley was charged in the death of his wife, Marsha Ellen Brantley, who was 51 when she disappeared.

She was last seen in late May or early June of 2009.

Brantley is being held on $500,000 bond.

The couple had been married nine years.

He said she had left him and they planned to get a divorce.

A writer, she had previously worked at Lee University.
