Tin Aesthetic And Wellness Spa Opens Thursday

Tin Laser Vision Center will open the Tin Aesthetic and Wellness Spa on Thursday, from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. in Chattanooga.  The new medical spa is home to the only “Lumenis One” treatment in Chattanooga.  

The business will offer a state-of the-art laser hair, vein and sun spot removal machine. Officials said, "The Multi-Laser Technology Platform combines intense pulsed light and ND YAG Lasers for dramatic improvements to imperfections like spider veins, age spots, sun damage, unwanted hair and ruddy complexions." These advanced laser light treatments and photo rejuvenation are also used for facial rejuvenation.

The Tin Laser Aesthetic & Wellness Spa is at 930 Oak Street in the Fort Wood historic district.

City Applies For $27 Million Federal Grant On $52 Million Wilcox Tunnel Project

The city is applying for a $27 million federal TIGER 6 grant for a $52 million complete reworking of the narrow Wilcox Tunnel through Missionary Ridge. The project would leave the current tunnel in place for westbound traffic with a single lane and build a new two-lane tunnel for eastbound traffic.
