Missionaries Guests For WMU At Brainerd Baptist Tuesday

The Women's Mission Union./Women On Mission monthly meeting at Brainerd Baptist Church, 300 Brookfield Ave., will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in Room 209. The program will be presented by Kevin and Laura Baggett, missionaries to Buenos Aires, Argentina. Lunch is $5.

A new women's Bible study will begin Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in Room 209. The six-week study will be led by Kay Marie Kendall and will use the video-based study by Beth Moore, "Sacred Hearts." The cost of the  study guild is $10. Register with the church office. 

A new men's Bible study, "Game Plan For Life", volume 2, is a six-week video study series with Joe Gibbs and will begin Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in BX CrossView. The cost of the class is $15 for a study guide. Participation in Volume 1 of the study is not required for an understanding of Volume 2. Registration suggested in church office.

Jury Finds In Favor Of Texas Sheriff In Suit Brought By Chattanooga Photographer

A Federal Court jury on Friday found in favor of a Texas sheriff and his chief deputy who had been sued by a Chattanooga photographer. The jury in the courtroom of Judge Curtis Collier awarded no damages to Donna Johnson.
