Building Bridges Theme For 2014 At Ridgedale Baptist

The theme for 2014 at  Ridgedale Baptist Church, 1831 Hickory Valley Road, will be "Building Bridges."   They will be finding ways to live out Loving God, Loving Others.  

The pastor will be preaching a series of messages on "Loving God" in January and then spend the rest of the year on "Loving Others" as they build bridges to the community and world. He will share his vision for 2014 Sunday in a combined worship service at 10:30 a.m. with a special time of prayer Wednesday for the new year. A new Wednesday night schedule will begin with supper at 5:15 and evening activities at 6:15.

Wylie Gross will present a monologue for the program at the monthly meeting of Senior Adults at the luncheon meeting which will begin at noon on Tuesday.

A new women's Bible study will begin Thursday, Jan. 9, at 9:30 a.m. in Room 115. Pat  Bowers will lead a study through Genesis with "The Patriarchs," encountering the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, by Beth Moore.
