Erlanger To Answer Questions About Hutcheson Foreclosure At Public Meeting

  • Thursday, October 16, 2014

Erlanger Health System officials will hold a public meeting tonight (Thursday) to discuss steps it is taking to obtain $20 million it advanced to Hutcheson Hospital in Fort Oglethorpe after it was engaged to help the financially-ailing hospital.

As part of that process, Erlanger filed foreclosure proceedings against Hutcheson.

The meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. at the Colonnade Center, 264 Catoosa Circle, Ringgold. The Colonnade is off Battlefield Parkway.

Hutcheson later filed a counter-suit, saying Erlanger failed in aiding the hospital.

A foreclosure date was set earlier, but a federal judge postponed it at the request of Hutcheson officials.
