Josh Duggar and his family and several of his siblings will be in Chattanooga and Cleveland in support of the “Yes on Amendment 1” campaign.
An outdoor rally will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Hickory Valley Baptist Church, 2320 Hickory Valley Rd, near the intersection of Hickory Valley and Shallowford Roads.
Josh Duggar is the oldest child of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar of the “19 Kids and Counting” TV show and the executive director of the Family Research Council Action Committee. Josh and his wife have three children.
There will be a “Pastors and Leaders Breakfast” at 8 a.m. before the Chattanooga rally. Pastors, elders, deacons and elected officials in the surrounding areas are invited. Please contact Philip Wysong at 423 718-9775 about attending the breakfast.
There is a second rally planned for Cleveland. It will be held at 2 p.m. on the Greenway on Raider Drive across the street from Cleveland High School.
Confirmed speakers for the Cleveland rally include: State Rep. Kevin Brooks, State Rep. Dan Howell, State Sen. Mike Bell, State Sen Todd Gardenhire, Mayor Tom Rowland and Sheriff Eric Watson.
Josh Duggar will speak at the breakfast and both rallies. Some of the speakers at the Chattanooga rally will be Mark West of the Chattanooga Tea Party, Pastors Brian Haney, Gary Jared and Alfred Johnson, Chattanooga City Councilman Larry Grohn.
A number of the Hamilton County Commission will be in attendance. Several will speak, and all will be recognized for their part in passing the resolution supporting Amendment 1.
