Kyndall Edwards
A woman was arrested Monday afternoon after police said she became angry while driving and pulled a gun on the woman driving the vehicle beside her.
The woman was later identified as 25-year-old Kyndall Edwards.
The other woman, an off-duty county officer, said she was driving on Highway 153 when Ms. Edwards started tailgating her.
The off-duty officer, Marie Willerson, told police that at that point, she slowed down to allow the car to pass as she did not want the vehicle "on top of her."
She said Ms.
Edwards then drove up beside her and started making hand gestures at her. When Ms. Willerson raised her arms, she said Ms. Edwards then pulled a gun and pointed it at her.
After this, Ms. Willerson followed Ms. Edwards long enough to get her tag number.
Police eventually found the car. They said the gun was also inside.
Ms. Edwards was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. Bond was set at $6,000.
