Wanda Wimberly
Wanda Fay Hartline Wimberly, 71, of Rossville, died on Monday, November 24, 2014.
She had lived in the North Georgia area for most of her life and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed playing Bingo, loved puzzles and enjoyed working in her flower garden. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Winston Lynn Wimberly and two brothers, Jeff and Junior Hartline.
Survivors include her children and spouses, Wesley Wimberly of Rossville, Wilson and (Tina) Wimberly of Wildwood, Rhonda Morgan of LaFayette, and Renee and (Jeff) Cross of Flintstone; brothers and sisters-in-law, Herschel and (Mary) Hartline of Chattanooga, and Billy and (Yvonne) Hartline of Soddy Daisy; sisters and brothers-in-law, Charlotte Mills of Rossville, Liz and (Robert) Poulos of Laurel Springs, N.C., and Cynthia and (Buddy) Cully of Harlem, Ga.; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Elaine and David Ratcliff and her favorite pet, Pete.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 28, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Brother Charles Shaver officiating. Burial will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends after 2 p.m. on Wednesday, and prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
There will be no visitation on Thursday.
