Dalton Christmas Parade Is Dec. 4

The annual Dalton Christmas Parade will be Thursday, Dec. 4 at 6 p.m. Several streets in the downtown Dalton area will be closed to make way for the parade.

The route for the parade follows the usual course through downtown.

Floats will line up near the intersection of Jones Street and Waugh Street. The parade will travel east down Waugh Street down the Hamilton access lane leading to Hamilton Street. It will move southbound down Hamilton Street to Morris Street where it will turn westbound. The parade moves west down Morris to Thornton Avenue where it will turn north and move to Crawford Street. There it will turn west and travel down Crawford to the end point at Harmon Field.
