Castillo, Janice Marlene Pressley (Athens)

Janice Marlene Pressley Castillo, 55, of Athens, TN, passed away December 14, 2014.

 

Born in Manchester, she had lived in Athens for over 30 years. She was a member of Rockview Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

 

Mrs. Castillo was preceded in death by her husband, Ezequiel Castillo; and father, James Edward Pressley.

 

She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Summer and Joseph Beshears; one granddaughter, Alexxis Beshears, all of Athens; her mother, Bobbie Faye Davis Pressley, of Manchester; two sisters, Darlene (Michael) Petschaur of Illinois and Edna (Roy) Smith of Kansas; six brothers, Michael, Robbie (Sandra), Charlie (Diane), and Larry (Daphne) Pressley, all of Manchester and Mitchell (Sherry) Pressley of Texas and Marlin (Yvonne) Pressley of Georgia; special friends, Alice Byrum of Athens and Lisha Duggan of Decatur; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

A Celebration of Janice’s Life will be conducted at 4:30 p.m., Thursday, December 18, in the Chapel of Serenity Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Standridge officiating.

 

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Serenity Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.

 

Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help defray the cost of final expenses.
