Louise Glaze Moore, 96, of Dalton, GA, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her loved ones and family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Geather Moore; parents, Ernest and Pearl Glaze; sisters, Thelma Bridges and Katherine Wilkins; brothers, Ralph Glaze and Lawrence Ernest Glaze, Jr.
Mrs. Moore was a native of Dalton and was the oldest living member of Grove Level Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Dawnville High School and a graduate of Herrin School of Business. She was active in the community and her church. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and attended every event and activity of her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by a son, Bill Moore of Dalton; daughters and sons-in-law, Rena Lowe, Rebecca & Jeff Weeks and Lana & Lonnie Cochran, all of Dalton; sister, Delene Hamrick of Waleska; grandchildren, Josh Lowe, Jacob & Amanda Lowe, Halen Weeks, Macy Weeks, Ryan Weeks, Sloan Brookshire, Larry & Fonda Brookshire and Rachel Goble; great-grandchildren, Mary Beth Lowe, Anna Grace Lowe, Ashley Goble, Zack Goble, Katie and Clay Hitchcock, Haley and Ryan Vitello; and nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Friday, December 19, at 2 p.m. at Grove Level Baptist Church with Dr. Charlie Bridges officiating. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Terry Poor, Frank Driggers, Dan Driggers, John Howell Bridges, Lawrence Bridges and Richard Lowe.
The family will receive friends at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home on Thursday, December 18 from 5-9 p.m.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Grove Level Baptist Church Bible Drill Fund.
