Foye Marie Millican Cross, 84, of the Cedar Grove community, GA, passed away Sunday December 21, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James A. and Maude Mason Millican; a brother, Willard Millican; her loving husband of 58 years, Lee Roy Cross, Sr.; and a son-in-law, David Wimpey.
She is survived by her daughters, Brenda (Jerry) DeFriese, Carolyn Wimpey and Rita (Darren) Gamlen; a son, Lee Roy (Doodle Bug) and his wife Sheryl Cross, Jr.; grandchildren, Shannon DeFriese, Tonya Grimes, Scottie Allen, Jennifer Ellis, Andy Gamlen and Colby Gamlen; 17 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her caregiver, Jean Vaughn.
Funeral from the Wallis Memorial Chapel will be Tuesday, December 23 at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Billy Jacks officiating. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Interment to follow in Coulter Memorial Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Monday, December 22, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
