Steve Phillips, 56, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, died on Saturday, February 8, 2014, at his home.

Steve worked for BI-LO Warehouse, was an avid fisherman/hunter, and enjoyed time with his family. He was a member of Calvary Church of the Nazarene.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sarah Johnson Phillips LaRoche and Calvin Phillips.

Survivors include his wife, Christine, two children, Hailey and Hayden, sister, Phyllis (Ricky) McCarter, of Dandridge, Tn., brothers, Ronnie Phillips, of Winter Haven, Fl., and Randy Phillips, of Olney, Md., and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Reverend Mike Campbell officiating.  

The family will receive friends from 5–7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 13, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family on behalf of Hailey and Hayden.
