Oakwood Baptist Hosts Come To Life Service Easter Weekend

Oakwood Baptist Church in Chickamauga and Ringgold will host Come to Life programs on Easter Weekend, April 18, 19 and 20. 

Oakwood starts the weekend by hosting ‘Secret Church’ on Friday, April 18, at 6 p.m. at the Ringgold Campus. Secret Church, a simulcast led by Dr. David Platt, is a fast paced intense Bible study that will focus on the cross and everyday life.  The evening also includes student led worship, food and fellowship.   

Oakwood will host a ‘SpEGGtacular’ Saturday, April 19, at 11 a.m. as the entire family has fun with music, skits, crafts and of course an Easter Egg hunt.   This event will be held at both Oakwood Campuses. 

Easter Sunday, April 20, Oakwood invites the public to celebrate the risen Christ and the difference He makes in lives today.  Join Oakwood for worship, message and a call to ‘come to life’ with services at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. 

Oakwood Baptist Church is one church that worships at 115 Oakwood St. in Chickamauga and at 3969 Cloud Springs Road in Ringgold.   

Temple Baptist Hosts Summer Revival

Temple Baptist Church will host a Summer Revival on Aug. 10,11,& 12 each night starting at 7 p.m. Dr. Tim Sims from Shelby, NC will be the featured speaker. Temple Baptist Church is located at 3200 Rossville Boulevard in Chattanooga.  (click for more)

Antioch Missionary Baptist Hosts 29th Pastoral Anniversary Banquet

Antioch Missionary Baptist Church will host a 29th Pastoral Anniversary Banquet Celebration in honor of Reverend Gerry W. Davis and First Lady Chandra Davis. Harr Outlines $40 Million Plan For Chattanooga Light Rail System

Outgoing Chamber of Commerce President Ron Harr on Monday outlined a $40 million plan for a Chattanooga light rail system that would serve not only downtown, but also the Airport and the Enterprise South Industrial Park.
