Baylor finished the Scenic City Classic at 4-0 with an 8-2 win today against Cleveland, while McCallie rallied to beat Darlington, 13-8.

McCallie 13, Darlington 8

The host Blue Tornado spotted Darlington two runs in the top of the first and then rallied for a 13-8 win to finish 3-1 in the Scenic City Baseball Classic Saturday.

McCallie's Matthew Brock had three-fourths of the cycle as he had a single, double and triple with two RBIs and two runs scored.

Teammates Quinn Smith was 2-3 and two runs scored and Drew Vaughn had a double and sacrifice fly and two RBIs while .Tyson Buchanan and John Hennen each had two hits and a pair of RBIs.

Tons Ferguson earned the win as he allowed three runs and five hits along with five strikeouts in four innings of work.

Quick Scoring: Darlington opened with two runs in the first inning on singles by Jay Shaddey (1-1, 1 run) and Burton DeLaney (1-2, Run). The Tigers scored a single run in the third followed by a five spot in the fifth.  In the fifth, Darlington used four walks, a hit batsman and two McCallie errors and no hits for the five runs.

Big McCallie Inning: In the home half of the third and trailing 3-2, the Blue Tornado sent 11 batters to the plate as Buchanan (RBI single), Hennen (RBI single), Vaughn (RBI double) and Payne (RBI (2) triple) led the offensive attack which produced seven runs.

McCallie added a pair of runs in the fourth and fifth.
