A woman was shot on Monday evening on West Avenue.
Chattanooga Police Officers responded at 9:22 p.m. to a person shoot call at 3704 West Ave., Apt. A. Officers found Tanika Caldwell, 29, suffering from a single gunshot wound to the facial area. Ms. Caldwell was transported to a local hospital, and is listed in stable condition.
At this time there is no suspect information, and the case is pending.
