John Deffenbaugh Plans To Seek New Term For House District 1

  • Monday, March 24, 2014

Rep. John Deffenbaugh said he plans to seek another term as representative of Georgia House District 1.

The Lookout Mountain, Ga., resident said, "Now that the 2014 Georgia General Assembly has completed its session and fulfilled its only legislative requirement, a balanced budget, I can now announce my candidacy for another term as your representative for District 1 in Dade and Walker counties.

"It has been my honor to serve all of the citizens of District 1.  It has been my pleasure to hold your seat in Atlanta as your representative.
From that seat I have been able to assist many of you in your every day problems with government issues. I look forward to continuing to serve you in this manner.

"I will be out in the community visiting as many of you as I can.  If I can assist any of you with a problem or issue, I will be glad to help.

"You can contact me at deffenbaugh.john@gmail.com or by phone at 423.400.8128 or 706.820.1375."
