Ozzie Martinez drove in pinch-runner Casio Grider with a run in the top of the ninth and reliever Pedro Baez set the Smokies down in order in the bottom of the ninth to end the game. Baez collected his second save.

Lookouts' starter Tyson Brummett pitched 4.0 scoreless innings giving up 4 walks while fanning 2 batters. Reliever Craig Stem threw 2.0 innings and winning pitcher Mike Thomas went two innings.

The Lookouts scattered eight hits and stranded 11 runners. Chattanooga went 1-for-7 with runners in scoring position.

The Smokies were held to just four hits.

The Lookouts and Smokies meet again at Smokies Park at 7:15 p.m. Lefty Chris Reed will be on the hill for Chattanooga.

The Chattanooga Roller Girls (CRG) will host The Mississippi Rollergirls in their final bout of the season on Saturday, at the Chattanooga Trade and Convention Center at 7 p.m. CRG is currently undefeated at home for the 2014 season and is hoping for a record crowd on Saturday night. Storm Brings Heavy Rain, Wind Through Area

Severe storms brought heavy rain and wind north of Chattanooga on Wednesday evening. EPB crews were dealing with power outages in Brainerd, Soddy Daisy, Shallowford-Tyner and East Chattanooga. Man Robbed, Stabbed At Hixson Pike Bus Stop

A man was robbed and stabbed at a bus stop on Hixson Pike on Tuesday night. At approximately 9:30 p.m., officers were called concerning a robbery at 3800 Hixson Pike.
