Recital, Tea And Installation of Officers To Be Held By Chattanooga Music Club

The Chattanooga Music Club will present its annual recital featuring CMC Scholarship winners at 2:30 p.m. on April the 27th at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

The Scholarship recipients for 2014 are Justin Smith, oboe, $3,000 Chattanooga Music Club Scholarship; Janelle Wigal, French horn, $2,500 Drs. Hilda & Andres Alisago Scholarship; Drew Craig, Tenor, $2,000 Opal Rhea Swaity Scholarship; Joey Shultz, piano, $1,500 Dorothy Cobb Martin Scholarship; Christine Lau, violin, $1,000 Fletcher Bright Strings Scholarship; Austin Ngo, piano, $1,000 Fry Merit Scholarship.

The recital will be followed by the installation of officers and a tea.

State Representative Richard Floyd will install 2014-2015 officers Linda Thompson, president; Margaret Ann Randolph, first vice president; Buddy Shirk, second vice president; Pam & Gary Helton, third co-vice presidents; Jane Southerland, fourth vice president; Molly Kennedy, recording secretary; Lounelle Draper, corresponding secretary; and Gerald Payne, treasurer.
