Dorothy Rogers Crenshaw, 72, Of Dalton, GA, passed away Monday, April 16, 2014.
She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and retired from J&J Industries.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Crenshaw; parents, Ruby Rogers and Jamie Lee Williams; step-mother, Ida Williams; son, James Rogers; maternal parents, Stephen and Antee Rogers; brother, Johnny Rogers; sister, Christine Lamar; and adopted mother, Alice Cummings.
She is survived by her children, Larry Rogers of Calhoun, GA, Debra (Jan) Pourquoi of Tunnel Hill, GA and Doris Mimi Crenshaw of Nashville; daughter-in-law, Donna Renee Rogers of Dalton; sister, Pearlie Mae Jackson; two brothers, David Williams and Donnie Williams, all of Thomson, GA; sister-in-law, Katie Weaver Garlington of Atlanta; adopted family, Mamie Joe Griffin, Shelena Wilkins, Carolyn Binns and Myrtle Betton; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Homegoing Service will be held Wednesday, April 23, at 1 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church with Pastor Rheubin Taylor, Rev. Kenneth Scaife, and other ministers officiating. Interment will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 22 after 11 a.m.
