After issues were raised on a "secret ballot" vote by the East Ridge City Council on naming members to the long-idle Industrial Development Board, there will have to be a revote.
It will be held Thursday at 5 p.m. at a special council meeting that will also include a budget discussion.
At the last meeting, eight names were placed on a ballot for the seven members on the panel.
For the final spot, late entry Mac Pendley won out 3-2 over former Interim City Manager Eddie Phillips, though the name of Mr. Phillips was not mentioned at the meeting.
It was said that the ballot was used so as not to embarrass the loser.
The board is being revived because it is a requirement of developers going forward on the Jordan Crossing project at the entrance to Camp Jordan Park.
