All School Board Incumbents Facing Opposition

  • Thursday, April 3, 2014

All incumbent school board members will be facing opposition in the upcoming election.

It appeared that District 8 School Board member David Testerman might not have opposition in the August election, but former Hamilton County Education Association President Samevelyn Rock qualified just before the deadline.

District 3 incumbent Greg Martin will be faced by Jim Watson.

Joe Galloway in District 6 will be going against Oscar Brock and C. Ballard Scearce Jr.

There are seven candidates in District 5, where Jeff Wilson is not running again.
