The Palm Sunday services on Sunday, at Christ United Methodist Church, 8645 East Brainerd Road, in the sanctuary will be at 9:30 and 11 a.m. The sanctuary choir and orchestra members from the community will present the message of Holy Week in song and there will be a message from the pastor, Mark Flynn.
The 9:30 a.m. Gospel Service and the 11 a.m. Rock Service, both in the Commons, with bands and praise teams, will worship in the regular style of music, with a message from the pastor.
On Thursday, April 17, there will be a Maundy Thursday service at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary with Holy Communion, healing and foot washing.
On Friday, April 18, Good Friday will have a Service of Tenebrae, with readings and music in the sanctuary at 7 p.m. The service traces the story of Christ's passion and the power of silence and darkness.
