HIXSON 3 GRACE 1  Hixson rallied for three goals in the second half to beat Grace 3-1.  Galen Walls, Spencer Groves and Bryan Alfaro scored goals for Hixson.

 Grace's first half goal was scored by Ryan Sellers.

EAST RIDGE 2 SIGNAL MOUNTAIN 2  East Ridge took a 2-0 lead over Signal Mountain after a 0-0 halftime score.

  Signal Mountain scored on a penalty kick in the 65th minute.  The PK came after a straight red card in the box for a hand ball that impeded the goal.  East Ridge played a player down for the final 15 minutes.  Signal Mountain was able to tie the game at two in the 70th minute.

Montgomery Stops Lookouts Thursday, 6-4

The Chattanooga Lookouts (37-65) jumped out to an early lead, but committed four errors on their way to a 6-4 loss at the hands of the Montgomery Biscuits (53-50). KNOXVILLE -- Zac Stolz from Chattanooga is tied for fourth after the first round of the 11th Tennessee Match Play Championship at the Holston Hills Country Club. Stolz shot 4-under 68 on Thursday. I read the article written by Chris Morgan about the use of cell phones in vehicles and the Chattanooga Roundabouts. Cell phone use in vehicles especially in crisis intersection situations is extremely dangerous. I also agree with his assessment about the roundabouts.
