"Eternal Security" Is Sunday's Topic At Church Of The Highlands

Dr. Jeremy Roberts will begin a new sermon series this Sunday, at The Church of the Highlands, 6620 Hunter Road, Harrison, on "Saved." His topic Sunday will be "Eternal Security." Services are at 9:15 and 10:45. At 12:30, following worship there will be a VBS volunteer luncheon with the meal provided. 

On Wednesday at 7:15, there will be a churchwide financial information meeting.

County Commission Votes 8-1 To Deny Permit For Controversial Bakewell Firing Range

The County Commission voted 8-1 on Wednesday to deny a special exceptions permit for a $2.4 million firing range at Retro-Hughes Road at Bakewell. Only Commissioner Greg Martin was in support. County Commission Tables Proposal To Repair Central High Track

A majority of the County Commission on Wednesday voted to table a proposal to spend up to $500,000 to rebuild the track at Central High School.
