Melessia Ball, 55, of Dalton, GA, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2014 at her residence in Dawnville.
She was preceded in death by her father, Burley Withrow.
She was a member of Rocky Bridge Community Church, a follower of Jesus Christ, a dedicated home-maker, mother to all the children in her life and a business owner. Melessia was a faithful and loving wife, married to Tim Ball for 34 years. She was also a caring mother to both of her dear children who deeply loved her.
She is survived by her daughter, Katy (Aaron) Marcelli of Dalton. H; her son, Miller (Courtney) Ball of Ooltewah, TN; grandchildren, Lily Faith, Ella Ruth and Charles Avery Ball; mother, Betty Withrow of Arcadia, FL; sister, Renata Dunn of Chatsworth, GA; brothers, Clinton Withrow of Chatsworth, Casper Withrow of Ringgold and Chris Withrow of Dalton; and nieces and nephews.
The funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Ball will be held on Wednesday, June 25 at 11 a.m. at Rock Bridge Community Church, Stage 123 with Rev. Rodney Henderson and Rev. Alfred Turley officiating.
Burial will be at West Hill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be: Blake Withrow, Chad Withrow, Patrick Dunn, Cody Withrow, Cameron Withrow, Justin Hefner and Tyler Hefner.
The family will receive friends at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 24 from 5-8 p.m. and Wednesday, June 25 at Rock Bridge Community Church, Stage 123 from 10-11 a.m.
