Edwin Eugene Suttle, 81, of Lafayette, GA, passed away Monday, June 23, 2014 at his residence.
He was a member of Happy Home Baptist Church and was preceded in death by parents, Joseph Suttle, Jr. and Elzora Young Suttle; brothers, Joseph, III., Lewis, Alvin, Chester, James and Danny; and one sister, Karen.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Suttle; daughters, Aunderia (Dexter) Peoples of Houston, TX and Leslie Suttle Burse of Ringgold; granddaughter, Samira Burse; two sisters, Mary Hinton and Charlotte White of Lafayette; one brother, Gary (Patricia) Suttle of Ringgold; two sisters-in-law, Marion Suttle of Birmingham and Jennifer Salmon of Lafayette; one aunt, Ernestine Suttle; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Homegoing Celebration will be held Saturday, June 28, at 1 p.m. at Happy Home Baptist Church, 704 North Chattanooga Street, with Pastor Albert Evans officiating. His remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Friday, June 27 after noon. Interment will follow in Lafayette Cemetery with full Military Rites.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service on Saturday, June 28.
