Ethics Lesson - And Response

  • Friday, June 27, 2014

I was driving down I-24 today and almost ran off of the road after hearing a political advertisement for Scott DesJerlais. After extolling the alleged virtues of the Congressman they then announced it was paid for by Citizens4Ethics in Govt. I wasn't aware that is was ethical for a Physician to have an ,"inappropriate relationship," with one of his patients, much less two. For this the good Doctor was fined a whopping $500 by the Doctors Association who it appears like lawyers, take care of their own.

I also wasn't aware that it was ethical to proclaim one's opposition to abortion but yet pay for one for your mistress and an elective one for your wife. I wondered exactly who this "Citizens4Ethics in Govt," might be so looked them up when I got home. Well it appears this organization consists of one person, Andy Miller, and his company Healthmark Ventures, who are located in Nashville. Either Mr. Miller or the company have made 100% of the donations to good ole Citizens4Ethics.

Fortunately the voters of the 4th District have a candidate, Jim Tracy, who not only runs on integrity but lives his life that way . As one of his commercials says, "if we are going to clean up Washington we need to start with our own party." Scott DesJerlais is an embarrassment to the Republican Party and needs to be replaced with a man of character and integrity like Jim Tracy.

Joe Carr's campaign for United States Senate received a large donation from a Lifewatch Pharmacy in Nashville. Guess who the Tennessean says owns that? You guessed it, Mr. Andrew Miller.

It would seem like all these shell companies and organizations would get hard to keep up with. The Bible says that "No man can serve two masters", and those words were never more true than today it seems.
