Riverbend Unplugged 2014 At Creative Discovery Museum

Creative Discovery Museum will host a Riverbend Unplugged performance by Jetset Getset on Sunday from 2-3 p.m.

Recognized by the Country Music Association on the "Who New to Watch" list in 2013, Jetset Getset has a style that Music Connection Magazine described as "sprightly country twang." Their upbeat songs have meaningful lyrics that will leave your heart thumping and your feet tapping for hours after they finish playing.

“Experiencing live music is always a special treat for every child to enjoy and Jetset Getset’s performance is sure to be no exception,” said Liza Blair, arts manager at Creative Discovery Museum. “We are very honored to be able host such young, talented musicians.”

Inaugural Station Street Sip And Savor Festival Is Saturday

Bicycle Store Owner Helps Police Nab Burglary Suspect

A bicycle store owner helped police nab a burglary suspect. Paul Rene Hayes, who has an extensive criminal record dating to 1993, was charged with aggravated burglary.
