Derryberry Public Relations Opens Nashville Office

  • Wednesday, July 30, 2014
Derryberry Public Relations, a full service public and government relations firm headquartered in Chattanooga, has expanded and opened a Nashville office. The firm provides services including, but not limited to media relations, crisis communications, strategic planning, branding, marketing, special events and promotions.

Heading up the Nashville office is Derryberry PR team member Sarah Basel, a Nashville area native with previous work experience at an award winning national marketing and PR agency in Nashville.

“With an expanding clientele list and consistent growth of regional PR work, our team felt an expansion to the Nashville market was the right move,” said Robin Derryberry, President of DPR.  “Our clients and friends have grown to love and respect the work done by Sarah, and we’re excited that she’s now heading up our efforts in the city she calls home.”

In addition to the Nashville office expansion, DPR has also affiliated with Nashville lobbying firm King Public Strategies, headed by Matt King.  Matt served as Majority Leader Ron Ramsey’s Senior Policy Advisor and later as Chief of Staff to Lieutenant Governor and Speaker of the Senate Ron Ramsey.  In addition, King served as Executive Director of the Tennessee Republican Party where he worked for Speaker Beth Harwell.
In addition Matt has served as the Tennessee State Director of the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB).

“Track records mean a lot in our business, and when our clients need a lobbyist, it’s important to have one of the best around,” said Andy Derryberry, co-owner of DPR.  “With over 20 year of experience in local, state and federal government relations, Matt’s government strategies are essential to our clients.”

“We’re thrilled to have a local presence in Nashville, as well as the capability to offer government strategies services to our clients,” said Ms. Derryberry. “The response has already been phenomenal and we are so grateful for our new Nashville clients.”
