Alta Aslinger
Alta Fay Aslinger, 76, of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, died on Monday, July 7, 2014 after a lingering illness, surrounded and embraced by her loving family.
She was of the Baptist faith. Fay was born Oct. 19, 1937 to the late William J. and Martha Hineman.
She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Glen Allen Aslinger and a brother, Larry Hineman.
Fay is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Reggie) Lewis; sons, Steve Aslinger, Richard (Lisa) Aslinger; grandchildren, Shae Lewis, Christy (Kenny) Stanfield, Gina Aslinger, Brooke Aslinger, Miranda (Brandon) Quinn, Zach (Shalina) Autwell; great-grandchildren, Jonah and Gabe Lewis, Macie, Paige and Carson Stanfield, LeAndra Brazil, Shayla Autwell; siblings,, Jewell Harper, Carolyn (Howard) Winters, Mona (Brian) Charlesworth, Louise (Bill) Roberts, Stanley (Sandra) Hineman, David (Pat) Hineman, Tommy (Darlene) Hineman, Janice Hinton, Rhonda Sharpe and many extended family members.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 11, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home, with Reverend Darrell Winters officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Her nephews will be serving as pallbearers.
Visitation is from 5-9 p.m. on Thursday, July 10, at the funeral home.
