Special Event Street Closures

East 8th St. between Douglas St. and Palmetto St., University St. between M.L. King Blvd. and McCallie Ave., and Campus Dr. Between East 8th St. and McCallie Ave. will be closed from 8 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. on Thursday for the UTC Freshman Move-In.  Parents dropping off or picking up kids at Brown Academy will need to enter from Campus Dr. or Palmetto St.

ML King Blvd. between Broad St. and Georgia Ave. and Market St. between East 8th St. and East 10th St. will be closed from 5:30 p.m.

to midnight on Friday for the Nightfall Concert Series.  The 800 block of Cherry St. will be closed at ML King Blvd. and will only be accessible from East 8th St. There will be limited handicapped parking in the 900 block of Georgia Ave. on the Miller Park side on the meters covered with Orange "reserved" bags.

Reggie White Blvd. between West 19th St. and the entrance to the Skate Park will be closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday for the Chattanooga Market.
