Sanford Lamont “Sandy” Hall, 55, of Red Bank, died on August 17, 2014 at Memorial Hospital.

Sandy was a member of Sequoyah Church of God and loved his church where he taught Sunday School Class and played bass guitar. He was a 1976 graduate of Soddy Daisy High School and received his bachelor's degree from Covenant College and his master's degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Sandy worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield for 25 years and loved his job.

He was preceded in death by his father, Sanford Hall and sister, Gina McDavid.

Survivors include his mother, Mary E. “Lib” Hall; sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Brad Bean; brother-in-law, Alan McDavid and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 20, at 12 p.m. at Sequoyah Church of God with Reverend Jimmy Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton County Memorial Park.

Sandy will lie in state from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. on Wednesday at the church before the service. Visitation is Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
