Navy Veteran Was Owner Of Scenic Realty

Fred Jackson “Jack” Headrick, Jr., 73, died at his Signal Mountain home on Wednesday, August 20, 2014.

In his early years, he served in the Navy and worked on the USS Harder submarine. Jack spent the majority of his life as a real estate broker and was the sole owner of Scenic Realty in Chattanooga.

Jack was predeceased by his parents, Fred J. Headrick Sr. and Barbara "Bobbie" Duda Headrick.

Survivors include his wife, Faye Cobb Headrick; daughters, Barbara Headrick of Signal Mountain, Lisa Headrick Griffin (son-in-law, Brian) of Fenwick, Mi., Heather Headrick of Jacksonville, Fl., and granddaughter, Alayna Griffin.

It was Jack's wish that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society and/or American Heart Association.

The Reverend Billy Dean will conduct the graveside service at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 27, at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
