Frances Lance
Frances Lucille Lance, 77, of Ringgold, died on Friday, August 22, 2014.
She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and North Georgia area where she was a member of the Red Hat Society. She was a member of the Parkway Baptist Church and also attended Bible Baptist Church. Frances was a beautician, having owned beauty shops in Ringgold for many years. She also worked for Winn-Dixie in East Brainerd for several years in the floral department. Her passions in life were her family, church, and her flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Christine Wilson; and three brothers, Clarence “Buddy” Wilson, Jr., Don Wilson, and Joe Wilson.
Survivors include her three children, Kathy (Eddie) Long of Ringgold, Ray (Shonda) Lance of Rock Spring, and Steven (Gina) Lance of Rossville; six grandchildren, Nicole McMath, Danielle Green, Perrin Lance, Garrett Lance, Savannah Caldwell, and Christopher Lance; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, Aug. 25, at 11 a.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Dr. Rickey Gravley officiating.
Interment will follow in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, Aug. 23, from 4-8 p.m., and Sunday, Aug. 24, from 1-5 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
