2 Arrested For Burglary At Wallace A. Smith Elementary

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office responded on Tuesday to a call at Wallace A. Smith Elementary School. The call concerned a burglary and subsequent loss of property, including computers, laptops and other items.

Several days of intensive investigation by detectives with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office culminated in the recovery of the stolen items, the arrest of one juvenile and one adult identified as Michael Blake Delaney, 18.  One additional arrest is expected.

Additionally, three car thefts, 12 vehicle burglaries and the earlier burglary of Wallace A. Smith Elementary School have been cleared. 

These reported incidents occurred in the same general area as the elementary school.
