The Lady Irish defeated Bledsoe County in straight sets 25-8, 25-2. 25-9. Kayle Stone led the Irish with 9 kills and 1.5 blcoks. Mallory Hein socred 30 service point including 12 aces she also led the Irish with 11 digs. Randi Clemenet added 5 aces and 6 kills and Ragen Dobson delivered 22 assists and 3 service aces. The Irish play Lookout Valley on Wednesday September 17th at Lookout Valley. The Lady Warriors defeated the Lady Irish in the JV match 2 sets to 1.

Cleveland knocked off Soddy-Daisy 3-2 in District 5-AAA volleyball action.
Set scores were 25-22, 25-21, 21-25, 20-25, 16-14.
The Lady Blue Raiders improved to 20-14 overall and 5-3 in the district.
“My girls had a different mindset tonight,” Cleveland coach Patricia Flowers said. “They knew that this win would help us reach our goals and we had to be focused on the right things to make that happen. Soddy is a good team and they put up a good fight.”
