Report That Led To Schools Lockdown Was A Hoax

Sheriff Jim Hammond said a report that led to a lockdown at McConnell and Allen schools on Wednesday turned out to be a hoax.

He said a caller stated there was someone at a house near Lakesite who was threatening to kill certain people, including police officers.

Sheriff Hammond said deputies went to the address and the people there had no information about the report.
