A multiple road resurfacing project is underway throughout Catoosa County. This project is federally funded and is being administered through the Georgia Department of Transportation. The project will take place on approximately 11.44 miles of roads in the county and include:  Keith Road; Poplar Springs Road (Post Oak Road to Burning Bush Road); Lane Rd; portions of West Nick-a-jack Road; Long Hollow Road; Cross St. (Cloud Springs Road to Lakeview Dr.); and Scruggs Road.

Work will begin on Monday and last for nine weeks.  The scheduled completion date is Nov. 30, weather permitting.  Expect partial road closures.  One lane will remain open at all times. "Catoosa County appreciates the patience and cooperation of everyone during this road paving project," officials said.
