Casey Giddy
Casey Giddy, 20, of Ringgold, died on Friday, September 5, 2014.
He was a lifelong resident of Ringgold and was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church. He had attended Ringgold High School where he was a pitcher and shortstop for the Tigers. He was currently working for the Krystal Company in Ringgold and his passions in life were making people smile, baseball, fishing, and the Tennessee Vols.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfathers, Deryl Adams and Jon Horne; and paternal great-grandparents, Bill and Sarah Beasley.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Heather Horne Higdon and Chris Higdon of Ringgold; father and stepmother, Marc and Sonia Giddy of Rock Spring; fiancée, Christian Morgan of Ringgold; brothers, Andrew Waldon, Mason Merriman, and Coy Cannon; sisters, Madison Stephenson, Cheyanne Giddy, and Sara Giddy; maternal grandmother, Teri Adams of Ringgold; paternal grandparents, Jack and Judy Giddy of Florence, Al.; maternal great-grandmother, Wanda Riggs of Ringgold; uncles and aunts, Scott and Kristy Giddy of Rock Spring, Tina and Johnny Drennan of Ringgold, and Tim and Sherri Riggs of Cleveland and several other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 10, at 2 p.m. at the TN-GA Memorial Park with Reverend Jim Bennett officiating.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
