Phillips, Mary Catherine (Dalton)

Mary Catherine Phillips, 94, of Dalton, GA, passed away Friday, January 9, 2015 at Regency Park Assisted Living.

She was preceded by her husband, Robert W. Phillips, Sr.; son, Robert W. “Bobby” Phillips, Jr.; and daughter, Roberta Phillips.

Mrs. Phillips was a member of South Dalton Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Darlene & David Morrison of Dalton; sons and daughters-in-law, Danny & Judy Phillips of Cartersville and Richard Phillips and Patsy Smith of Calhoun; five grandchildren, Lisa Martin, Richie Phillips, Robbie Morrison, Julie Brackett and Kelley Phillips; and five great-grandchildren, Katie Brackett, Hayley Phillips, Paige Brackett, Carson Phillips and Rezner Morrison.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, January 11, at 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Robby Dunn and Brother Joe Spann officiating. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, January 10 from 5-8 p.m.

Funeral arrangements are by Julian Peeples Funeral Home, Pleasant Grove Chapel, Dalton.
