Collegedale's Imagination Station Closes For Renovations

  • Friday, January 16, 2015

For 22 years, Imagination Station's wooden fort has been a Collegdale icon.

Kids who grew up there now bring their children to play on it. However, with age and growing safety concerns changes are inevitable.

City employees have started removing the planks that have lined the walkway that show traces of little hands with names carved on them. The Old Imagination Station has officially closed and removal will start soon to make way for a safer and more modern playground.
