R. Craig Holley Appointed To Federal Reserve Board

R. Craig Holley, chairman president and chief executive officer of CapitalMark Bank and Trust, has been appointed and Scott McWilliams, executive chairman of the board of Ozburn-Hessey Logistics LLC (OHL), has been reappointed to the Nashville Branch’s board of directors. Their terms began Jan. 1, and run through Dec. 31, 2017.

Mr. Holley organized CapitalMark in 2007 following a 26-year career with AmSouth Bank.

He is a member of the board of directors of Siskin Children’s Institute, vice chairman of the Hunter Museum of American Art and past chair of the Chattanooga Economic Development Council. In addition, Mr. Holley serves on the FIS national CEO Strategic Planning Advisory Council. Past board service includes the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce, the United Way of Greater Chattanooga, the UTC College of Business Advisory Board, Ochs Center for Metropolitan Studies, Tennessee River Gorge Trust, YMCA of Metropolitan Chattanooga and Girls Preparatory School.

Mr. Holley graduated from Auburn University in 1979; Louisiana State University’s School of Banking of the South in 1987; Georgia State University, management development program in 1998; and Center of Creative Leadership, Greensboro, North Carolina in 2002. He received the honor of Chattanooga Area Manager of the Year in 2012.

Mr. McWilliams has served in his current position since 2010. He joined OHL in 1990 and was appointed chief executive officer of OHL in 2001 and served in that position from 2001 to 2010. He previously served as president from 1996 to 2001 after serving in various operations positions within the company. Prior to joining OHL, Mr. McWilliams worked for the Kroger Company and Super X Food and Drug.

Mr. McWilliams is an active member of Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, the Warehousing Education and Research Council and International Warehouse Logistics Association. He serves on the editorial advisory board of DC Velocity magazine and on the boards of directors for the University of Tennessee Global Supply Chain Advisory Board, the American Heart Association, and the United Way of Metropolitan Nashville. He is an elder at First Presbyterian Church and has previously served on the boards of the Warehouse Education and Research Council, the American Red Cross, Second Harvest Food Bank, Habitat for Humanity, Alive Hospice, Quality Packaging Specialists International and Jobs for Life.

Mr. McWilliams has a bachelor’s degree in logistics from the University of Tennessee.

Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta Branch directors provide economic information from their industries and the branch territory to the district bank’s president and head office directors, who use the information in discussing monetary policy options and making discount rate recommendations. Mr. Holley was appointed by the Atlanta Fed’s board of directors. Mr. McWilliams was reappointed by the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in Washington, D.C. The Board of Governors appoints three of the Nashville Branch directors, and the Atlanta head office directors appoint four.
