Gregory Dale Vaughn Arrested On Meth Charges In Bradley County

Detectives working drug enforcement for the Criminal Investigations Division of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office on Monday completed an investigation that took approximately two ounces of crystal methamphetamine off the street.

The investigation, which was culminated with the arrest of a suspect at a location on APD-40, was the result of detectives pursuing leads into a possible source of illegal drug trafficking. Arrested was Gregory Dale Vaughn, 56, of Dalton, and he was charged with selling and delivering Schedule II Methamphetamine.

Vaughn was booked into the Bradley County Jail.

Detectives found an approximately two-ounce ball of crystal methamphetamine wrapped in tape, as well as over $500 in cash in the suspect’s possession upon his arrest. Also recovered from a vehicle were several smaller pieces of suspected meth.

Sheriff Eric Watson said the arrest was another in the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office’s ongoing focus on trafficking of methamphetamine and other illegal substances in Bradley County.
