Volunteers Needed For Workdays On New Hiking Trails

Construction has begun on a new hiking trail in the forest beside Dalton State. Volunteers are needed to help build the trail. There will be four workdays: Friday, Jan. 16; Saturday, Jan. 31; Saturday, Feb. 21; and Friday, March 20, all from 8:30 a.m.-noon.

Volunteers should meet at the north end of the parking lot at the Brown Center near the woods. Bring sturdy shoes or boots and water. For more information, contact Jon Lugthart at jlugthart@daltonstate.edu. The trails are open to the public.
