Bobby Ray Moore
Bobby Ray Moore, 63, died on January 2, 2015 at a local hospital.
He was a graduate of Howard High School in the class of 1970 and was employed by Felton Clutch Services for 23 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy Corp.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Leona Jefferson.
Survivors include his wife, Iantha J. Moore; sons, Kelvin (Tami) Waites, Bobby, Jr. (Lisa) Waites, both of Atlanta, Gabe (Jennifer) Phillips, Elyria, Ohio, Kenneth (Nikita) Jennings, Chattanooga; daughter, Yolanda Waites, Florida; stepson, Patrick Whitaker, Chattanooga; brother,, John (Carolyn) Gordon; sister, Carolyn (Robin) Kilby, both of Chattanooga; a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren and cousins; very devoted friends, Anthony (Hazel) Cunningham, Willie (Gwen) Norman, Harold (Maxine) Davenport, Graydell Price, Richard Adams, Wade Pride, Oliver Jefferson, Bill Newbill, Mario Butts.
Services will be on Monday, Jan. 12, at noon in the chapel, with Pastor Gilbert Sims officiating. Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The body will lie in state after noon on Sunday, Jan. 11, and the family will received friends from 6-7 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
